About Us

Ala is the soul of this B&B, having a deep passion for nature and herbs. Her discovery of the magic nature and beauty of the Euganean hills made her feel at home. Ala feels at home in this environment full of hornbeams, figs, hazels, almond trees, pear trees and she has surrounded herself with beds of rosemary, sage and mint. Her daily and tireless activities  are divided between the garden that she cares for herself, taking care of  the particular species of peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, and the organization of the house, in which no detail, however small, is neglected, in order to make it a pleasant stay for family and guests. Her warm and continuous smile, together with her warm welcome and availability makes every experience an unforgetable one for our guests.

Sergio’s vision is what Petrarca wrote to a friend in a letter of 1369: “If only I could show you the second Elicona that i have set up for you and the Muses in the Euganean Hills, I really think that from there you would never want to leave”. Arquà, for Sergio, is also a wonderful place, made for art, poetry and music; in fact his continuous participation in the care of the B&B takes place in his free time from the profession of musician, director and flautist. He is curretly working out on a project aimed at creating, in Arquà Petrarca, a center for music production, teaching and concerts.

What can you really say about a red cat? You will surely have to discover, through his timid ways, if he likes you…Also for Tito the B&B’s garden has been a whole new exciting world….. to be discovered bit by bit: how many new things to see, smell, chase… Tito was born in April  2013 and was a present from Sergio after a successful concert in Venice. He looks forward to many more years of running, tree jumping and many many friends visiting our B&B.
